Kyle’s journey to Work Now Hawaii has been anything but conventional, and that’s what makes it so inspiring! He has always had a big heart, dedicating his time to volunteer work with the Special Olympics, coaching various sports, and actively supporting local after-school programs. After gaining valuable experience in public schools, he ventured into administrative roles, focusing on developing curriculum that impacts students worldwide.  

When the time came to find a permanent home, Oahu topped his list. He eagerly returned to teaching and coaching, but the administrative aspect of supporting programs kept calling him back. So, when an opportunity with Work Now Hawaii arose, he immediately seized it! Kyle’s passion for WNH and its mission shines through. He believes that what sets us apart is the wealth of opportunities we provide, each unique and enriching.  

At Work Now Hawaii, we take a holistic and supportive approach to employment, starting with education and guiding individuals toward meaningful and impactful careers. Kyle firmly believes that effective leadership is grounded in hands-on experience. He knew he had found an organization that shares that belief.  

Starting as a project manager, Kyle diligently worked his way through various roles, ultimately becoming the General Manager. His hands-on experience has been invaluable, helping him evolve into the leader he aspired to be. Looking ahead to the next 5-10 years, his vision for Work Now Hawaii is ambitious: he hopes to expand the organization’s reach to every island in Hawaii, helping even more individuals in their journey toward success.  

Kyle shares that Work Now Hawaii has profoundly impacted his life, reshaping both his personal and professional trajectory. “I am blessed for the opportunity to work with my team each day,” he says. “I get to wake up and be excited about work, along with excitement of the possibilities that are coming our way. WNH has grown into something everyone is proud of and I am fortunate to be a part of it.”  

One of Kyle’s favorite aspects of his role is hearing stories of recognition and success from our community. “I love hearing from parents and family members about how their lives have changed or getting feedback from customers on our high level of service. At the end of the day, knowing we made a positive impact is what matters.”  

Kyle also shares a powerful piece of advice: “Everyone has a battle they are currently fighting. It might be easier to ignore others, but helping them can change their lives forever.” His pride in his team is evident as he continues, “I am so proud of my team and all we are able to accomplish. A leader is only as strong as the team behind them, and mine is strong beyond belief. I am truly honored these individuals decided to be a part of this team over their other opportunities.”  

In essence, Kyle’s journey and his role at Work Now Hawaii reflect a deep commitment to personal growth, community support, and harnessing the power of teamwork. The future is bright, and we share his excitement for all the possibilities that lie ahead!
